HELMSLEY Young Farmers have handed over £1,250 to the Farming Community Network (FCN).
Last week, members were joined by Helen Benson, Yorkshire Co-Ordinator for FCN, who gave a presentation about what the charity does, the support it offers, as well as the anonymity and confidentiality of the people it assists.
With money raised from Ryedale Show after party and their annual dinner dance, member were proud to donate £1,250 to FCN.
The Farming Community Network can be phoned on 03000 111999 and is available from 7am to 11pm every day of the year.
Anyone interested in joining Helmsley YFC can come along to meetings held every Tuesday at 7.30pm. Details of meetings can be found on Facebook or by texting or phoning secretary Katie Mitchell on 07873 163899.
