JONES Malcolm Elaine, Claire, Christoph and family can hardly find the words to thank everyone sufficiently - for the sensitive care received by Derwent Surgery and York Hospital and for prayers, cards and messages of sympathy. It was humbling to see so many loved ones attending the lovely funeral led so thoughtfully by Revd Cate Turner and Bishop James Jones enhanced with the lovely music and the choir's beautiful contributions as we paid tribute and committed into God's care our much loved, Malcolm. The very generous donations, in lieu of flowers, for the wonderful work of Martin House Hospice for children and Acklam Church are very much appreciated and a further tribute to Malcolm. Richard at The Half Moon Inn in Acklam provided a warm welcome on a chilly afternoon where drinks and delicious refreshments by Julie were served. Finally and not least, many thanks go to Fergus Court who provided an efficient and kind service throughout. It was a beautiful tribute to Malcolm and his life well lived.
