A MOTORCYCLIST has been injured in a crash on the A64.
North Yorkshire Police said the crash happened at West Heslerton near Rillington, close to Malton, and they were called to the scene at about 3.25pm.
The road is blocked in both directions and traffic is not moving. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route if possible.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said the crash involved a car and a motorcycle.
The spokesman said the motorcyclist is believed to be injured, but the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service are also at the scene.
