DRIVERS are being warned about forthcoming roadworks in Yorkshire and the Humber from Monday, October 12 to Sunday, October 18.

The information is correct as of Friday, October 9, and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. 

M1 Junction 30 Chesterfield to Junction 31 Worksop

The northbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane overnight for two nights from Monday 12 October. The northbound entry slip road at junction 30 will be closed overnight for two nights on Monday 12 October and Wednesday 14 October. The northbound entry slip road at junction 31 will be closed overnight on Tuesday 13 October. The southbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane overnight for four nights from Monday 12 October. The southbound exit slip road at junction 30 will be closed overnight for two nights from Monday 12 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 Junction 32 Thurcroft to Junction 35a Stocksbridge

The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway scheme. There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit until the project is completed in winter 2016. The northbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane overnight for three nights from Tuesday 13 October. The northbound exit slip road at junction 34 will be closed overnight on Tuesday 13 October. The southbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane from junction 32 to junction 34 overnight for seven nights from Monday 12 October. The southbound entry slip road at junction 34 will be closed overnight for two nights from Monday 12 October. The southbound exit slip road at junction 32 will be closed overnight on Sunday 18 October. The southbound entry slip road at junction 33 will be closed overnight on Friday 16 October. The southbound exit slip road at junction 33 will be closed overnight on Monday 12 October then a further two nights from Thursday 15 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 Junction 39 Denby Dale to Junction 42 (M62 interchange)

The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway scheme. There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place until the project is completed in autumn 2015. The northbound side of the motorway will be fully closed between the slips at junction 42 overnight for five nights from Monday 12 October. The southbound exit at junction 40 and the southbound entry at junction 41 will be closed overnight on Thursday 15 October. The southbound side of the motorway will be fully closed between junction 39 to junction 40 overnight for two nights from Monday 12 October and then a further three nights from Friday 16 October. The southbound exit at junction 39 and the southbound entry at junction 39 will be closed overnight on Wednesday 14 October. The northbound side of the motorway between junction 40 and junction 41 will be closed overnight for four nights from Tuesday 13 October. The northbound side of the motorway between junction 41 and junction 42 will be closed overnight on Sunday 18 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 Junction 37 Dodworth

The southbound side of the motorway will be closed between the slip roads overnight for resurfacing works for five nights from Monday 12 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 Junction 26 Bradford (M606 interchange)

There will be narrow lanes and a 30mph speed limit in place until the project is completed in April 2016. The slip roads and roundabout at the junction will be reduced to a single lane overnight, between 7pm and 6am, from Monday 12 October for five nights.

M62 Junction 25 Brighouse

The westbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for patching works for two nights from Monday 12 October. The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for three nights from Wednesday 14 October. The closures will be in place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 Junction 27 Gildersome to Junction 28 Tingley

The eastbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane for technology works overnight on Monday 12 October. The westbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane for technology works overnight on Thursday 15 October.

M62 Junction 25 Brighouse to Junction 26

The eastbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane for technology works overnight on Tuesday 13 October.

M621 Junction 1 Beeston

The anticlockwise carriageway will be closed overnight for five nights from Monday 12 October at junction 1 for bridge works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M621 Junction 2 Elland Road

The anticlockwise entry slip road will be closed for maintenance works on Saturday 17 October and Sunday 18 October. The closures will take place between 5am and 10am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1M Junction 37 Blyth

The northbound exit slip road will be closed for patching works overnight on Friday 16 October between 9pm and 6am. There will be a lane 1 closure from Saturday 17 October 6am to Monday 19 October 6am. Drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1M Junction 36 Warmsworth The southbound exit slip road will be closed for electrical works for four nights from Monday 12 October. The closures will take place between 9pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A64 Bondhill Loop

The westbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for patching works for five nights from Monday 12 October. The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for three nights from Monday 12 October. The closures will take place between 9pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A616 Newton Chambers to Westwood

The eastbound and westbound side of the A road will be closed between Westwood and Newton Chambers for resurfacing works from Friday 16 October for two nights. The closures will take place between 9pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A61 Westwood Roundabout

The eastbound and westbound side of the A road will be closed between Westwood and Wentworth Way for roundabout improvement works from Monday 12 October for four nights. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A180/A160 Immingham, Humberside

There will be narrow lanes on the A180 and A160 along with a 50mph speed limit while work takes place to improve access to the Port of Immingham, including upgrading the A160 to a dual carriageway. The project is due to be completed in autumn 2016. The westbound exit slip road at Brocklesby will be closed until August 2016 and the eastbound entry at Brocklesby will be closed until August 2016. The westbound side of the motorway will be closed from Eastfield junction to Harbrough Roundabout overnight on Monday 12 October. The eastbound and westbound side of the motorway will be closed from Brocklesby to Stallingbrough overnight for two nights from Saturday 17 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes A63 Alexandra Dock to Market Place Hull The westbound side and the eastbound side of the motorway will be closed for a bridge inspection on Sunday 18 October between 6am and 2pm, with a clearly signed diversion in place.
