NUNNINGTON Hall is once again hosting the British Wildlife Photography Awards Exhibition.
The awards were created to celebrate the talents of both amateur and professional photographers, while revealing the splendour of Britain’s wildlife.
With 16 separate categories, including animal behaviour, urban wildlife, habitat, animal portraits, marine life and a special category for wildlife in HD video. There are also three junior categories to encourage young people to connect with nature through photography.
Laura Kennedy, visitor experience manager at Nunnington Hall, said: “For the sixth year running, these wonderful photographs will bring the best of the British wildlife to Yorkshire.
"We hope the photography exhibition will inspire people to pick up their cameras and have a go at capturing their own wildlife photographs.”
The exhibition of more than 100 images and videos, including winning and commended entries, will be shown at Nunnington Hall until Sunday, June 26.
Nunnington Hall is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 11am to 5pm, and Mondays in school holidays.
