YORKSHIRE Lavender will be holding a mint and thyme weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
The celebration, which will be held in the gardens at Yorkshire Lavender, Terrington, aims to encourage people to grow their own and pick up useful tips.
Visitors can also learn about the history, medicinal and culinary use of the herbs and expert advice and help will be available throughout the weekend to inspire both the novice and experienced gardener.
More than 37 different varieties of mint, 25 thyme and a large collection of lavender and herb plants will be on sale in the specialist plant nursery.
A spokesman for Yorkshire Lavender said: "Have a wonderful day out. You can browse around the gift shop for that unique gift introducing the new range of products created from their own Yorkshire Lavender oil, extracted from the plants grown on the farm, then enjoy delicious ‘mint and thyme’ delights in EJ’s Tea Room."
