JIMMY BEADLE and Ryan Blott were on target as Scarborough Athletic climbed to fourth in the Evo-Stik League first division north with a 3-1 win over Farsley.
Marcus Edwards pulled a goal back for the visitors 20 minutes into the second half but, five minutes later, Gary Bradshaw scored to put the result beyond doubt.
Earlier in the week, the Seadogs had needed penalties to get past Brigg Town in the Doodson Sport Cup.
Nathan Evans netted but the game ended 1-1 and was settled by spot-kicks.
Scarborough won the shoot-out 3-1.
They are in league action again on Saturday at New Mills (kick off 3pm), who are second bottom of the table.
